National Permit Expediters, Inc., formerly known as Permits Unlimited, has provided prompt, professional service to the building industry since 1999. Formed to serve the rapidly growing Charlotte market, National Permit Expediters has grown from a local startup operation into a national, diversified residential and commercial building permit management service. In 2006 we expanded our commercial division to the national level to serve architects and contractors around the country. In 2013, our company was re-branded National Permit Expediters, Inc. to encompass the vision of the nationwide expansion. We possess vast knowledge of the permitting process in the Charlotte, North Carolina, and surrounding areas as well as the national commercial market.
Suzie Preidt, the founder of National Permit Expediters, has over 19 years of experience in permit expediting. She started out working for a residential homebuilder as the President’s secretary and moved into the position of starts coordinator.
She has used the knowledge she gained and through hard work, dedication, hands-on experience and a tenacious drive she has developed National Permit Expediters into a thriving business. Her success is attributed to Biblical business principles, working closely with the building department in providing complete submittal packages and building strong relationships with the building department which in turn benefits our client’s relationship.
Suzie grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Belmont, North Carolina over 21 years ago. She has five grown children, a member of the Kav’vanah worship dance ministry, involved in church ministries, volunteers to feed the homeless and is passionate about giving financially to Christian ministries.
Cassie Melton, permit coordinator, has been employed with National Permit Expediters since 2015. She has a passion for the fast-paced construction industry and has expanded her knowledge by closely shadowing Suzie Preidt and communicating with clients and building officials.
Cassie grew up in Belmont, North Carolina but relocated to Florence, South Carolina this past year. She married her high school sweetheart and has two children. The foundation of Cassie’s life, both personal and professional, is built upon her deeply rooted faith.
